Administration:
The Centre was set up to promote and preserve our Ghanaian Culture and heritage through the Various artistic disciplines in the visual, literary and, performing arts, exhibitions and outreach programmes, seminars, workshops, research and net working with other relevant stake holders.

The Regional Centre operates from a Directorate. The Centre's activities have to encourage national unity, social cohesion and harmony. This is spelt out in the Cultural Policy of the National Commission on Culture. We also ensure an active community participation in our work through District Arts Committees.
Currently there are seven (7) departments at the Directorate for the purposes of planning, monitoring and evaluating the regional centre's work.

The Centre has the following facilities:

A 1,100 seating capacity hall with air condition, stage lighting, motorized front curtain, male and female dressing rooms.

Total Staff Strength and Gender Ratio
The Central Region Centre for National Culture has total staff strength of ninety­
four (94) which is made up of twenty -eight females and sixty-six males. The
Centre has personnel in all the thirteen districts of the region.
