Cultural Factory of the old slaughterhouses of Casablanca is a cultural wasteland born in 2009. The building (53,700 m2 with more than 22 000 m2 built) dating from 1922 is located in Hay Mohammadi, and was operational until 2000 is part of the recent architectural heritage of the city of Casablanca and its importance in history development of the economic capital allowed to include it in the list of national monuments. The Cultural Factory became a space for artistic creation urban, dissemination and training in all disciplines (performing arts, arts recorded, street arts, visual arts and applied arts). The venue has hosted since 2009 over 200 artists and attracted over 400,000 visitors from all walks: local residents, students, enthusiasts across the country, professionals from around the world. True to its dynamic project, the programming is divided between appointments ritualistic, artistic residencies, and training time. The factory remains a public place regularly invests through conferences, filming or photo shoot and a place of daily rendezvous of children and youth.
