Founded 40 years ago by Maryse Rouillard, Filmoption International is both a full service Canadian distribution company and an international sales agent that represents companies and films throughout Canada and around the world. In Canada, Filmoption International distributes and imports feature films and documentaries for theatrical exhibition. The company also works closely with several Quebec, Canadian and International producers to develop and finance films, documentaries and TV series. Filmoption International also produces, coproduces and provides production and postproduction services for feature films, documentaries and series.
