Film Activities at the Goethe-Institut Sudan - An Overview

Sudan had been organizing for years, providing a space for screening and discussing films, but also for networking amongst key players of the film industry and building capacities by visiting artists and film experts from abroad culminated in a five months training program organized in cooperation with notable international film professionals. Over this period of intense training sessions on cinematography, directing, editing, but also photography and sound a young group of Sudanese film talents acquired knowledge in all these areas of expertise, producing six short documentaries "Made in Sudan" as a result, which were premiered in June 2010.
