Injyana Ensembles adapted from the Kinyarwanda language, the word 'INJYANA' means "the music that is happening" or "the motion of the music."

The Injyana Ensembles provide a platform for classical music and jazz to thrive in the Land of the Thousand Hills located at Green Hills Academy.  Whether you are a proficient, experienced musician, or have hopes to learn how to play an instrument, we can help you join "the motion of the music!"

Injyana Ensembles is a collection of three bands- Injyana Orchestra Rwanda, Injyana Community band and Injyana Jazz band.

Each of the Injyania groups are multi-generational, multi-cultural ensembles, meaning - no matter your nationality, as long as you are at least in 5th grade and perhaps less than 99, and live in or in proximity to Kigali you can be involved!
