Makerere Art Gallery/Institute of Heritage Conservation and Restoration is a university art gallery and a research institute at Makerere University in Kampala, dedicated to the preservation, exhibition and research of art from Uganda and beyond. Founded in 1969 the gallery collects and exhibitsmodern and contemporary visual art.
