As the Bahamas' principal heritage conservation agency, the Antiquities, Monuments and Museum Corporation is committed to the preservation, interpretation and promotion of nation monuments, historic sites, artifacts and ecofacts, which acquire national importance and inspire pubic interest by reason of their historical, archaeological, anthropological and /or palaeontological significance.
The Antiquities, Monuments and Museum Corporation seeks to foster and promote public stewardship and participation in the care and management of national, historic and cultural resources for the education and enjoyment of residents and visitors.
