Alvaro Kiki Kuautonga was born in 1981 and grew up in Port-Vila with strong family bonds with the island of Futuna. His art is inspired by life on the island, daily activities and custom stories. He has a particularly refined skill for paper cutting and is the only artist in Vanuatu using this technique on plastic x-rays.
