Ana Leão

Ana Leão has over 20 years of experience in international development, including academic and policy research, advocacy, project management and monitoring and evaluation in the social and human security sectors. Her expertise includes peace promotion and consolidation, post-conflict reconciliation and reconstruction, violence prevention, child and youth protection, gender advocacy, and policy development. She has worked with governments, United Nations agencies, bilateral donor organizations, post-secondary education institutions and international and local non-governmental organizations in different countries and cultural contexts. Ana is a Portuguese citizen who speaks German, English, French, Spanish and East-Timorese Tetum.
