Anom Akoto

Anom Akoto, born and raised in Ghana, seen pretty much of the outside world, lives in New York, an aspiring director, producer, fashion designer, TV presenter and an artist. Anom has been a force to reckon with. As a little kid, my great grandma made me join a choir and thats what brought it all. Born in a family deep in music, my father was also a musician in the army and my mother a singer in the same choir. Growing up listening to rap music, R&B, soul and basically good music brought forth the deep feeling he has for music. Showbizness has been a great part of me till today. Watching my group Emigrants fall apart, I had to move on and make it happen. His love for showbiz brought forth BREAKTRU DVD MAGAZINE ,a hiphop-hiplife DVD magazine that represents the streetz and the hustle from Africa to the rest of the world  where artiste gets their shine on which has featured artist from Jay-Z, Wyclef, 2Face, D'Banj, Reggie Rockstone amongst others. His main aim is to put a lot of talents on the map. In 2008, teamed up with his partner Joe ossae of Celebrity Studios and Produced a TV show called Celebrity TV on Net 2 TV Ghana for  a year. He later went on to produce and direct his own TV show, Breaktru TV which was air on DStv channel 142 and GTV Ghana.
