Barkima Nafissatou LAGUEMPEDO is a film director and screenwriter.

She is known for "Juge T. Blanche" (2023), MA NUIT DU DJOMÉLÉ (upcoming).



Communicator by training, she discovered a passion for cinema in 2018. Today, a young author, she is working on several short fiction or documentary film projects. Nafissatou continues her training within the association TAAFE VISION which fights for a better representation of women in the film and audiovisual industry in Burkina Faso.
She works as an accounting secretary, with many other functions in production and on film sets.

In 2025, her documentary feature film project titled MA NUIT DU DJOMÉLÉ | MY NIGHT OF THE DJOMÉLÉ wins the Prix Institut des Afriques / ALCA, at FIDADOC (Agadir, Morocco), for a creative residency in Bordeaux and participation in the festival Afriques en Vision 2025.
