Brazilian screenwriter and Director.

Beatriz SEIGNER is a Brazilian screenwriter and Director. In 2009, she directed Bollywood Dream, first coproduction between Brazil and India, which has been selected in over 20 international film festivals, including Busan, Tokyo and São Paulo. Los Silencios is her second feature. Beatriz has also directed a documentary, currently in post-production, Between Us, A Secret, about African griots, co-written with Walter Salles.
Her second feature Los silencios (2018) won the City of Milan Audience Prize and Special Mention (Feature Film Competition) at the 29th Fescaal (African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival), Milano, Italy.
