Bushra is an Egyptian star born and raised in the United Kingdom. Her career began when she became a reporter and hosted her own show on Satellite TV. At the age of 19, she took her first acting shot by starring in the very first Arab sitcom ever made in the Middle East'Shabab Online', which luckily was a success and a great start. She then took part in several successful TV series co-starring some of the best actors of our time; and had the honor to be chosen by the internationally renowned director Youssef Chahine to play a part in his film'Iskendereya New York'.'Ouija','An El'esh Wel Hawa','Wesh Egram','Ana Mesh Ma'ahom' are some of the films in which she participated before playing the main character in'Al Moshtabah' and'El Heyaka fiha Menna'.

In 2010, she took part in a project that she calls the'highlight' of her career. She was executive producer and co-starred in the film'678', written and directed by Mohamed Diab. It was the very first Egyptian film to ever discuss the sexual harassment crisis.'678' premiered in the Dubai Film Festival in which both Bushra and Maged El Kedwany won the Best Actress and Best Actor awards.'678' was also screened in over six international film festivals receiving awards and special mentions.

Throughout her acting career, Bushra still focused on her singing one. One of her biggest hits was a duet with the talented Mahmoud El Esseily,'Tabat we Nabat'. After a series of successful singles, she was able to release her first Album in 2006,'Ba'd El Gharam'. With the release of her second album'Ehki' in 2008, she proudly became the first Egyptian female from her generation, to write her own music and lyrics.

On a more corporate level, she is currently the executive producer and deputy CEO of Dollar Film - New Century Production, a 60 year old film production company.
