Dominique Besnehard was born in 1954 in Bois-Colombes (Haut de Seine) in France.
After his baccalaureate in 1973, he studied at the national high school
of arts and theater techniques (ENSATT). When she was 21, Jacques
Doillon calls her for his film "Sac de billes" and have him manage the casting of children in Quebec. This experience will be the springboard
for his film career. In 1986, he enters the greatest artistic and Art Media agency of France where he was in charge of managing the career of famous French filmmakers. In 2006, he started production and settled his own company : "Mon voisin production" which got the rights of the novel "Les grands- mères" by Doris Lessing, awarded Nobel prize of literature in 2007.
