Co-founder of Vues d'Afrique festival in Montréal, Françoise Wera has been working on audio-visual for more than thirty years. In cinema she has, among others, directed the documentary "Justice blanche", produced and directed "Fati et les autres" and co-produced "Le joueur de cora" from Cilia Sawadogo. In 1997, she put in place for Vues d'Afrique Les Programmes d'Appui au Déveoppement de l'Industrie Audio-Visuelle Africaine (PADIAVA 1 et II), that, during 7 years, performed the training of hundreds of trainees accross Africa. Her last project, PRO-SERIES, training programme on writing and production of radio productions in collaboration with the training institute Imagine in Ouagadougou, has enabled the production of the series "Santé,Santé,Santé) diffused in Burkina, Niger, and in Mali. François Wera is also co-presenter of the broadcasting'Derrière l'image', a broadcasting on the cinema that she created in 1981 on the waves of CINQ FM radio.
