Gabriel Range was born in Mid-Walesand studied medicine at Bristol University before completing a postgraduate degree injournalism at Cardiff University. He hasdirected docudramas for British television, including The Great Dome Robbery (2002), TheMenendez Murders (2002), The DayBritain Stopped (2003) and The Man Who Broke Britain (2004). His feature films include Death of a President (2006), which screened at the Festival, and I Am Slave (2010).
