Gonzalo Ballester was born in Murcia (Spain) in 1982. In 2003, he shot the material for the documentary short film La Serenissima in Venice. At the end of 2005, he left Spain to study cinema at the European Film College, in Denmark. Since then, he has directed four documentary short films. He is currently editing his first feature documentary.

Gonzalo Ballester nació en Murcia (España) en 1982. En 2003 graba en Venecia el material para el cortometraje documental La Serenissima. A finales de 2005 estudia un curso de cine en el European Film College, Dinamarca. Desde entonces ha realizado cuatro cortometrajes documentales. En 2011, ultima el montaje de su primer largo documental.
