Jackie Hanover known popularly in Guyanese households by her moniker, 'Jaxx' is a Reggae/Dancehall singer-songwriter. 

She debuted in 2010 as a contestant in the 2010 Carib Soca Monarch under the guidance of Guyanese music veterans Charmaine Blackman and Bonny Alves. She subsequently, captured headlines nationwide or her remarkable performance at the United for Haiti 2010 concert which featured over 40 artistes. 

Months later, Hanover joined Guyana's premier crossover band, Heatwave and has since been deemed one of most prolific artistes Guyana has seen in the last 10 years! 

In 2011, Jackie competed in the GTT Jingle & Song competition and thereafter toured the country with several finalists at events hosted by the telecommunications giant. 

Jackie Jaxx has shared the stage with some of the best local, regional and international artistes including Neyo, Machel Montano, Patrice Roberts, Omarion, Queen Ifrica, Bunji Garlin, Faye-Ann Lyons, Konshens, Busy Signal, Mavado and many others. 

With a following of several thousand fans online, Hanover has released several chart-topping singles over the span of her career and she continues to strive to infect the world with her unique sound. 

The artiste is currently un-signed and working with independent labels in and out of Guyana.
