Kanyenje is currently the director and choreographer of Pamoja Dance Group. The Group is a mixed ability group of 14 dancers with varying degrees of disability. In this regard, he very used to working with people as part of team to see that everyone can communicate and create artistic productions with exceptional results. They have performed in all major arts venues in Kenya and have received extremely good national and international media coverage. In addition, he convenes weekly open door dance workshops at the dance studio at the Kenya Conservatoire of music. He has also successfully completed a series of outreach activities to Kenya's prisons (4 months), children's homes and schools.
