Lauriane Lagarde was born in 1981 in Toulouse and has lived in Rennes since 2007.
After a university education in Social and Solidarity Economy, she turned to directing and in 2007 obtained a Master's degree in Creative Documentary Filmmaking in Angoulême. She participates in the filming of several documentaries and TV films as a sound operator and makes recordings.
Sur la Dalle directed in 2010 is her first film.
In 2013 she directed Madeleine (my own America) produced by Agane Productions and TLT.
In 2015 she obtains the Brouillon d'un rêve grant from the SCAM and directs À part entière, a documentary produced by Gilles Padovani (.Mille et Une. Films). The same year she also directed her first short fiction film À l'horizon, produced by Thomas Guentch (5J Productions) as part of the ESTRAN competition.
