Lorenza Coray-Dapretto

An independent senior researcher, formerly associated with the University of Geneva, in connection with the Swiss National Science Foundation, she holds a doctorate in foreign languages and literature from the University of Padua (Italy), a Master's Degree from the Graduate Institute of Development Studies in Geneva (Switzerland), and a Doctorate in Anglophone Studies from the University Stendhal, Grenoble III (France). She is the author of Le Théâtre Communautaire Sud-Africain: Au Rythme de l'Autre (L'Harmattan, Paris, 1996). She is specialized in South African theatre and socio-cultural aspects of Africa, African oral literature, as well as social and religious questions dealing with Dalits in India.
