Joti was born in 1982 as Lucas Lazaro Mhaville, he one of the best comedian in Tanzania. He started his career since when he was in primary school. Later after school he jaoined Drama group called Nyota Ensemble and after gained his popularity, he moved out of the group with his best friend Mpoki and started group "Ze Comedy" where he became famous. They started being aired on EATV but due to some missundestandings they moved to TBC and started anaother group called Ze Komedi Original.
