Maggie Morgan is an Egyptian film director and producer. She introduces herself as " 100% Egyptian despite the name. Cairophone the way some people are francophone."
She obtained a master's degree from the American University in Cairo in 1998. Since 2000, she has worked as a producer at MediaHouse, an independent film company in Cairo. She has produced films by a number of young directors such as Viola Shafik, Hassan Khan, Eman el Naggar, Nadine Khan and Amir Ramses. Maggie has acted as part of the Interfilm jury twice: at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005 and at the Locarno Film Festival in 2006.

Maggie Morgan now teaches film studies at the American University in Cairo. She directed her first documentary, ‘The Picture', in 2002. Her medium-length feature ‘From Within: Her Stories' was shown at numerous festivals, while her documentary ‘Egypt in the Eyes of Mair' screened on MBC's Al-Arabiya Channel in 2009.

In 2018, Maggie Morgan is the Manager of The Cairo Film Connection (CFC), the Cairo International Film Festival's co-production platform.
