Majd Hijjawi is Jordanian actress born in 1980. Her first debut was in a supporting actress role in "Gentle Grandmother" (2004), a Jordanian short dire by Yehya Al Abdullah. She played the role of a depressed journalist in "Over Dose" (2005), a political short Jordanian film directed by Ammar Quteineh. The film that participated in Tangier's film festival in 2005 later won a Jordanian award. Hijjawi also acted in "Over Dinner" (2006), a short Jordanian film directed by Mohammad Khairy, in "Getting Out" (2006), and in "Butterfly" (2007) a short film directed by Muhammad Hushki. She played the part of an Iraqi emigrant who lives in exile, and finds solace from a stranger she meets from back home in Duraid Munajim's "Makhraj" (2006). She is Lead Actress (Dalal) in END OF SEPTEMBER Written and directed by Sama Alshaibi and Ala' Younis (2009).
