Melvin Alusa is a versatile Kenyan actor who is a regular on both TV and film. He is also a producer at WAOO Media. He has played a wide range of roles from the carefree playboy on MNET's The Agency to a hard-edged creatively-blocked writer in Weakness (2012); a film directed by Wanjiru Kairu where he starred alongside Maqbul Mohammed.

He also recently featured in Sam Feurer's latest production, The First Grader, directed by Jim Chadwick.

Alusa also joined Kenyan actors and Nigeria's Jim Iyke in a new Kenyan crime thriller titled My Life In Crime.
The movie is an adaptation of three novels written by John Kiriamiti (My Life In Crime, My Life With A Criminal & My Life In Prison) and will have a star-studded Kenyan cast of Ainea Ojiambo, Abubakar Mwenda, Janet Kirina, Lenana Kariba, Jeff Koinange and Eddy Kimani.

He has also acted in The Garden of Eden.

In 2013, Melvin was nominated for an international Emmy Award and in 2014 he represented Kenya in Big Brother Africa in South Africa.
