Born in Algeria, he moved to France in 1992 to study Political Science. "A la recherche de l'Emir Abd El-Kader" (In Search of Emir Abd El-Kader) (2004) is his first documentary film, made after the short fiction film "Rumeur, etc" (2003).
Producer and distributor of SORA, an organisation he founded in 2003 in Algeria. He lives between France and Algeria.
