Nelton Fisher was born May 28, 1965, in Albert Town, Trelawny, Jamaica.  When he was a small child he lived with his grandmother and attended Maud McLeod Secondary School.  He then moved to Anchovy to live with his father and attended Anchovy Secondary School.  He is entirely self-taught and loved to paint from a very early age.  One of his paintings was represented to the former Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Hon. Hugh Shearer.  He is in many prestigious collections, and no Jamaican art collection could be said to be complete without his work.
