Born on 31 December 1970 in Mali, Ngolo Diarra graduated from the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Humanities of the University of Bamako in dramaturgy and directing. He obtained a degree in communication at the private University of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Ngolo Diarra has worked at the Audiovisual Production Service Centre of Mali, at the United Nations Mission in Haiti. He is currently working with the United Nations Office of Humanitarian Affairs. He is SOROKE d'OR 2007 for Best Cameraman/Director, Second African Prize in the United Nations Environment Programme competition in 2001.
