A poet, musician and a panoptic artlosophy artist, Lamptey is a member of Tsooboi Ensemble which is an Afro cultural jazz music group. He is also a founding member of Ghana Ehalakasa Poetry movement at the Nubuke Foundation. He is also a progressive activist, an African conscious person and strict on practical principle in everything. Also known as Okunka Bikpakpa, he has performed in several venues in Ghana and other West African countries.
