Author of New Paths, a collection of poems
Having grown up during the ?golden years? of her native country, Noelle Bolou witnessed with much grief the collapse of a nation that once was called Cote d?Ivoire the Beautiful.

In addition to New Paths, she has also completed a novel in French entitled A Breath of Life. Much of her writing focuses not only on topics concerning her native country and the continent of Africa, but also on themes that touch man in his universal nature. It was written over a very long period of time and takes the reader on a ride through time and space. There is hope in Africa?s future but much has to be done, and now is the time. She can be contacted for reading engagements.

She read her poems recently at George Mason University (Virginia) Fall for the Book Festival : (http://www.fallforthebook.org/participants.php). Three of her poems were selected and published on African Writing Online, an onlie magazine (http://www.african-writing.com/six/noellebolou.htm) published in London.

Bolou is a translator and holds a M.A. in English.
She can be contacted for reading engagements.
