Also known by his stage name "Spoek Mathambo", Nthato MOKGATA is a musician, artist, producer, rapper, and singer-songwriter.. He is a renowned musical artist, under the alias Spoek Mathambo and has produced many projects over the past decade. In 2014, along with Lebogang Rasethaba, Mokgata, directed a feature length documentary film, Future Sound of Mzansi, about South African electronic music, which went on to screen at various festivals and events globally. Having written, directed and edited Burkinabé (2019) (along with Carla FONSECA), this is Nthato Mokgata's first foray into the fictional feature film realm.
