Ethiopian-born Pamela NOMVETE MARIMBE stars in Ramadaan Suleman's moving post apartheid drama ZULU LOVE LETTER. She will also soon be seen in Raol Peck's SOMETIME IN APRIL, a drama about the Rwandan genocide.


She became a household name in South Africa for her award-winning performance as super bitch Ntsiki Lukhele in the long running soap opera GENERATIONS. She also starred in the crime series BEHIND THE BADGE. A graduate of England's Welsh College of music and Drama.


Pamela immigrated to South Africa in 1994. Her acclaimed Johannesburg theatre performances include John Kani's NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. Lorraine Hansberry's RAISIN IN THE SUN and Janet Suzman's THE GOOD WOMAN OF SHARKVILLE.
