With the message of love, unity and consciousness embedded in his music, St. Croix born Ras Attitude has truly established himself as a musical force to reckon with.
Born In St.Croix USVI M.Goodwin Aka RAS ATTITUDE son of Singer Harrella Goodwin was Raised In the church and was introduced to the stage at the early age of 7 and also traveling and doing shows with his mom who is a gospel singer he learned keys ,notes , performance skills & what it takes to be an artist , thats when Ras Attitude became in love with music . At the age of 16 while going to Caribbean Community School Ras Attitude started a thing called LUNCH ROOM SESSION as a way to practice his craft and that became the place where students would come to show off there talent . But that was not enough for Ras Attitude ! Still in High school Attitude was part of starting a sound system called "Tek-9 Sounds" with some friends in the neighborhood and that became something that would make him climb for the top. In between sets and the sound system, Ras Attitude would do his own little show using rhythms from 45 Vinyl Records.Which was a success for him and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. After high school Ras Attitude went on to Becker College, where the name Attitude was given to him by Tippa Lee of the group "Tippa Lee & Rappa Roberts." While taking classes he was able to do little gigs at clubs, which gave him recognition on a small scale. Batch perviously play in the band for Harrella Goodwin (Attitude's mom) who at the time was playing with "Motion Band." Upon meeting with Batch and voicing several tunes in the studio and together the two began the creation of SoundVizion Records.
