"We all need to be better listeners and to work harder to understand the global village we all live in; and creating great film is the best way to do this."

Rebecca Chandler's love for cinema began in Southern California when her family would go to the "drive-in" theatre, the kids dressed in their pajamas, to watch the latest Hollywood release.

A chance work opportunity in 1990 landed Rebecca her first job in the production community assisting various producers with big-budgetcommercial productions and she became "hooked" on the film business.

After spending ten years producing various advertising campaigns in Washington, DC and then New York City, Rebecca journeyed to Cairo, Egypt where she oversaw the production of feature films, television series, animated series, documentaries and music videos.

In 2006, Rebecca took herself on her dream safari to Kenya and immediately fell in love with Africa. In 2007, Rebecca returned to Kenya for more adventure viewing the Great Migration and decided it was time for a move.

Rebecca arrived in Kenya in 2008 and began to collaborate with Kenyan filmmaker Wanuri Kahiu and the two have been pursuing great work ever since.
