Born In a Ugandan town known as Fort Portal in 1987,Tumuhairwe Robert was involved in music from a young age, starting out in a children's choir in his grand father Bishop solomon Mukonjos church where he led as the soloist of the choir and started writing songs at the age of 7.He later joined the main church choir which helped him polish his musical abilities as young man His dream for music grew bigger and he decided to pursue his career as a solo artist.though he was not signed under any record Lebel,he performed on riddims/instrumentals of artists like chaka demus and pliers,shaba ranks and papa san who is one of the artistes that inspire him to date.Robinsan always had a dream of being in studio some day ,till i came to pass when he met gospel music producer Doug B Mukisa who recorded his first single called "Tusabe" which means lets pray atALPHA ONE STUDIO.Tusabe was released in 2006 becoming a hit song on all radios in Uganda and hit the number 1 spot on Holy spins radio in the USA.This helped to establish the popularity of the young artiste, who later became known as Robin San.a dynamic gospel Dancehall recording artist,producer and song writer.later Robinsan had to joined another record label known as kiss records under producer Trophimus who helped him produce his first album called "ABAZZADE"(Parents).which was dedicated his mother sylvia bagaya.With sells not coming through as expected,Robin gotdiscouraged and disappointed,leaving church for the night clubs,did drugs, and got wild and so wasted that he almost lost his life.

with the constant conviction of the Holy Spirit, that he was doing wrong,and didnt belong to that world,he recommitted his life to Christ after surviving a drug over dose.Robin san went through struggles and pain in life since he was brought up by a single mother in his grandfather's house but continued performing and honed his craft till He found his artistic home under JOURNEY MAN PROJEKT under the leadership and mentorship of urban Gospel artiste Sami-k his musical/spiritual father,getting to join and work with other artistes like Mac Elvis-"The Church Boy"(R.I.P), Muro and levixone,where he continued to record singles like "Newunya nnyo" (I Wonder) right after he recommitted his life to Christ and this song is a full testimony of all he has been through in his life...Newunya nnyo has been played on all TV stations and radio count downs in UGANDA and has held the number 1 spot for a very long period of time impacting many lives causing his career to gain a lot of momentum. In 2013 Robinsan released atrack named FORWARD ft, the dancehall gladiator Krystal fabulous.a song that speaks of the challenges and the struggles he's been through but to never ever look into his past and only move Forward.Just like Newunya nnyo FORWARD hit most air waves in Uganda and has went on to impact so many lives.Robin San sings about what he has experienced in the life back then and testifies of what GOD has made him and what He continues to do in his life.

Robin san has worked on projekts with different artists like Mac Elvis,,Muro,phila,Krystal fabulous and so many others,also featuring on the "Sold out Riddim" which had local and international artists like samukati,phila,Richie,Dafari and many other artists from Jamaica and Kenya.

Robinsan has performed in countries like Tanzania,kenya,Birundi and Rwanda.Robin san is also the C.E.O and founder of Vision plug an organization that helps young and up coming gospel musicaians in Uganda.


Still in 2013 robin san decided to go back to school and this time round a music school to get more knowledge about music and to also be able to teach music in Bayimba music Academy.

In 2012 Robin san was nominated for best Dancehall artsist of the year in Olive gospel music awards.

Robin san is the 1st ever gospel artist to perform on gospel night,the show that has brought up most of the big names in the gospel indusry.
