Rosa Spaliviero works and lives mainly in Brussels. She has been coordinating cultural events and curating film programs in Brussels, Maputo (Dockanema) and Lubumbashi (Picha Biennale) as a freelancer since 2006. Focused in film and audiovisual forms from Africa, she was a producer for Atelier Graphoui for nearly 7 years, an audiovisual production workspace. In March 2014 she co-funded mòsso asbl/vzw, in order to develop her skills in curating film. In July 2017 she co-funded Twenty Nine Studio & Production sprl/bvba with her partner Sammy Baloji.

In 2008, Rosa participated in organizing Picha - Meetings of the Image in Lubumbashi: an African Biennial dedicated to the image, whose second edition will be in October 2010. For three years, she has coordinated the programming DOCKANEMA, documentary film festival in Maputo, Mozambique. She worked in the film "Republica de minínus" by the Bissau-Guinean director Flora Gomes.

Em 2008, participou na organização de Picha - Encontros da Imagem de Lubumbashi: uma Bienal africana dedicado à imagem, cuja segunda edição será em Outubro de 2010. Durante três anos, coordenou a programação DOCKANEMA, o festival de cinema documental em Maputo, Moçambique. Trabalha actualmente no filme "Republica de Mininus" do realizador guineense Flora Gomes.
