Comment: Rwagweri has no specific concern as such but builds his themes from the pressing social issues as they emerge in society. In fact The Invasions, his only published work so far deals with the AIDS scourge now ravaging Africa. It is a book that ripples with strong metaphor and diction. Rwagweri admires several writers but no single one significantly influences his writing.
