Sylviane GBOULOU (Pauline Sylviane GBOULOU MBAPONDO, her full name) is an actress, screenwriter, director and TV & Film producer.

She is known for "Sophia la Banguissoise" (2008, Director), "Bienvenue en France" (2012, Director), "L'amour de l'Afrique" (2014, Director), "Talitha Koumi" (2019, Director).

Birth date and place : December 12, 1983 in Bangui, Central African Republic.

A graduate in Public law and ex-Captain in the Central African police, Sylviane Gboulou began her career in 2008 as a filmmaker when she directed her first film "Sophia la Banguissoise" a feature film which denounced the mistreatment of orphans. In 2012 she directed the short film "Welcome to France", where she recounts the issues of immigration. In 2014 she produced a series of 4 episodes of a 26 minutes TV Series entitled "Love of Africa" ​​in response to the unfortunate events that occurred in her country the Central African Republic and in 2019 the short film "Talitha Koumi" in tribute to the victims of the attack on UTA flight DC10 in 1989.
Sylviane Gboulou is the founder of the International Festival of African and Afro-descendant films "Bangui Fait Son Cinéma" and owner of Vallée Des Aigles Village, an TV & Film production company.
