After a few years in New York assisting directors, photographers, and production managers, Theresa Traoré Dahlberg studied film production - first at the New School in New York and then at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her graduation film, TAXI SISTER (2010, documentary, 28 min), shot in Senegal), received international praise and has been screened at festivals
worldwide. She is now pursuing her master's in fine art at The Royal Institute of Art in Sweden. OUAGA GIRLS (2017) is her feature length debut.

Theresa Traoré Dahlberg är uppväxt i Sverige och Burkina Faso. Hon är utbildad i regi och 16 mm filmproduktion på The New School i New York. För närvarande studerar hon sista terminen på TV-producentprogrammet vid Stockholms dramatiska högskola (tidigare Dramatiska institutet) och filmen TAXI SISTER (2011, 28 min) är hennes examensarbete.
