Wairimu is a socio-entrepreneur with various interests in Film, the Arts and promoting healthy lifestyles in society. She has a Masters in Science in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE) in the UK. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She has worked in various capacities particularly in policy research with the government, non-governmental organizations and in the private sector. Her interest in film stems from High school days when she was awarded a Best Actress Award in the National drama festival involving 30 schools. She has also acted in various documentaries in Kenya. She is also a Yogi with the African Yoga Project.
