Born April 22nd 1961, Wendy grew up in the quaint village of Fox Hill, Nassau, Bahamas. Wendy became fascinated with art at an early age. She excelled in her art classes throughout school years and flourished under the private tutelage of well known Bahamian artist, Homer Williams. She continued her studies at the College of The Bahamas. In the late 1970's she was afforded the opportunity of becoming one of the first graphic artists at ZNS Corporation. The corporation awarded her a study leave and scholarship to attend the American College of Applied Arts in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
