Yassine Marco Marroccu graduated in Audiovisual Arts from the University of Udine in 2003. He has a vast knowledge of international productions working in Morocco and Italy as a producer and director since the 2000s. As the owner of Eclipse Production, based in Casablanca, he has contributed to the development of several projects and the training of many young technicians, directed commercials, short films and participated in various humanitarian projects in the North African region and in refugee camps in South East Europe (Greece, Macedonia, Serbia). He directed his first short film in 2000, "Gnawas", has been invited by many international film festivals, for his short film "Entropya" he received the Grand Prix at the Algiers Short Film Festival in 2013, among other awards. In recent years he has been working on his first feature film "Catharsys or The Afina Tales of the Lost World", a co-production of Morocco, Italy and Serbia.
