Carnival has earned its very own seasonal time title for the sheer magnitude of its importance to the nation, culturally, socially and economically. It's the biggest - though not the only - national cultural festival in the State of Grenada. In Fact, there are so many cultural festivals - large and small, national and community-based - that Grenada slowly is becoming the "Festival Capital" of the Caribbean.
