new AfricanColours desk in Harare

Because of the kind support of Hivos and stichting Doen we will be able to open a new AfricanColours Desk at the end of this year.
AfricanColours has always been maintained from one desk in the Hague, in the Netherlands. To create an art network and to de-centralize the online organization, a new desk will be opened in Harare, Zimbabwe.
From here AfricanColours will provide internet services for the African art market. This will be made possible by a partnership with The Internet Village, one of the first internet café's in Harare and in togetherness with the AfricanColours artists in Zimbabwe.

The start of the new joint venture will coincide with the artists paint workshop 'African Colours and Dutch Skies'from August 27 to September 10, 2003 in Oudkerk, Friesland (the Netherlands)
