The South Pacific nation of Fiji has launched a competition for a new national flag.
The competition is open to all Fijians and will end on 1st of May, when a national committee of citizens, from various walks of life, will begin sifting through the entries to make a final selection.
Young people are welcome to give full rein to their imaginations, because this flag will be for them and future generations of Fijians.
The new flag will be ready by October, the 45th anniversary of the country's independence.
