The 18th Ismailia International Film Festival will take place from 20 till 26 April 2016.

The festival has been postponed more than once and it was supposed to take place in June 2015, but Ismailia hotels were very crowded because of the the launch of the Great National New Suez Canal mega-project,Prof. Ahmed Awaad said.

The new date will enable us to make a great edition like the previous editions in the festival and most of the films which we have selected had been screened in other festivals, so we have reopened the registration with the same selection committee, but we have changed the festival management, Prof Ahmed Awaad added.
