Abantu Visions

Abantu Visions is a Tanzanian television, video and film production organisation established in 1994. The production of Abantu includes a range of documentaries, education, health and community related films, infotainment, commercial and promotional films.

Abantu is widely experienced in providing the Tanzanians with a range of educational programmes on various issues. The company works closely with the grass roots, government officials, local governments, private institutions, educational institutions, NGO's, and diplomatic missions.

Through its productions Abantu's crew has been able to visit and cover large parts of Tanzania mainland and the islands of Unguja and Pemba. Abantu clients include national and international broadcasting firms and development institutions. The Abantu crew includes 11 permanent staff, including:

1 Executive Producer with an experience of more than 15 years working with local and international TV stations as well as production companies;
1 Producer/Director with more than five years of experience working on documentaries in Tanzania;
1 Soundperson with an experience of 7 years in sound mixing and engineering while working with local and foreign TV and film production companies; and
1 Film & Video Editor with an experience of more than 20 years in film and video editing.
