This is a CALL

For submissions for short African films to be entered into a competition for the Amakula Kampala International Film Festival that will take place from the 15th to the 25th of September in Kampala, Uganda.



CRITERIA:

- Entries should be no longer than 30 min.

- Submitted on VHS-PAL/NTSC, DVD and mini-DV.

- From all categories – narrative, documentary, animation, experimental

- Should include detailed synopsis and information on film/video (director, country, producer, medium, length).

- English Sub-titles for Other language films

- Deadline for submissions is August 15, 2005



Films short-listed from all submitted works will be shown at the Festival. During the festival an international jury will award the best African short.
