Created in 2011 by students and professionals mainly of African descent, AFRIKArchi (ex ArchBENIN) is a Non-Profit Association, represented in several African countries such as: SOUTH AFRICA, ALGERIA, BENIN, THE IVORY COAST, GHANA, EQUATORIAL GUINEA, MALI, MOROCCO, NIGER, NIGERIA, TANZANIA, SENEGAL, TOGO, TUNISIA…

AFRIKArchi aims to sustain and amplify the teaching of Architecture, Urban planning and Civil engineering in Africa. The goal is to create and promote a positive and dynamic image of local African building materials as well as to develop inspiration and creativity among professionals and students in architecture, urban planning and civil engineering. We want to give professionals and students the opportunity to discover and appreciate architectural and technical possibilities, to develop renewable energies technics, in order to make Africans realize that fields such as architecture, urban planning or civil engineering offer potentialities and are a also a way to create wealth.

AFRIKArchi quickly became one of the most attractive Facebook page with about 1,600 Fans and more than 17, 000 active users.
