Institution under the Diocese of Jinja charged with the duty to research in, document, preserve and promote the culture of the Basoga. The Basoga are the natives of the big region, Busoga, in the eastern part of Uganda. It stretches from the famous source of the river Nile, moves with the Nile, up to where it joins Lake Kyoga in the north. It's also bordered by Lake Victoria in the south and part of Lake Kyoga in the North Eastern part, and borders with Busia, near the eastern Uganda-Kenya Border.
